Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, funny, and full of energy. They are Special Education students who bring so much personality and heart into our classroom every day. Each of them learns in their own unique way, and what I love most is their resilience and how they support one another like a family. They remind me daily that progress doesn’t look the same for everyone—and that’s okay. Every small win is a big victory.

How each resource will help them learn:

This project, Fidget With Snacks, is designed to support focus, regulation, and motivation during learning.

Fidget squishies help students self-regulate during instruction, giving them a calming outlet to reduce anxiety and improve concentration.

Fruit Gushers and hot chips are used as positive reinforcements and incentives to help students stay on task, follow routines, and celebrate their effort and growth.

These small rewards and sensory tools make a big difference in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom where all students feel successful and seen. With your help, we can keep learning fun, motivating, and student-centered.
