My Project
I have a calming corner in my classroom that students use frequently to have some space to handle their anxiety throughout the day.
I would love to add some different fidget toys to the corner to help student feel comforted and calm for the time they spend there.
Student anxiety is at an all time high, with more and more students coming to school with trauma and anxiety part of their everyday lives. I strive to keep a classroom quiet, calming and comfortable for students who need time to adjust during their day. Thank you for helping me accomplish this goal.
