My Project

Welcome to our innovative project, "Fidget Focus: Boosting Learning with Positive Rewards"! We're excited to enhance our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program by incorporating fidget toys as rewards within our Gator Buck currency system.

In our classroom, students earn Gator Bucks for demonstrating positive behaviors such as active participation, kindness, and respect for others.

These Gator Bucks serve as a tangible representation of their accomplishments and contributions to our learning community. With each Gator Buck earned, students not only receive recognition but also gain access to a range of rewards and incentives.

Now, we're introducing fidget toys as a new addition to our reward system. These tools are specifically designed to help students stay focused and engaged during lessons. Whether it's a stress ball, fidget spinner, or sensory toy, each fidget provides a discreet outlet for restless energy, allowing students to channel their focus and attention more effectively.

By offering fidget toys as rewards, we're not only promoting positive behavior but also providing students with practical tools to support their learning journey. These fidgets empower students to self-regulate and manage their impulses, creating a more inclusive and conducive learning environment for all.

Furthermore, integrating fidget toys into our PBIS program reinforces the idea that every student's needs and preferences are valued. It promotes a culture of understanding and acceptance, where students are encouraged to find strategies that work best for them.
