My Project
Understanding geometric concepts through hands-on learning is essential for student engagement and mastery. My Geometry students will be studying circles and applying mathematical principles to real-world structures. This project will support students as they explore key concepts such as arc length, sector area, and central and inscribed angles. By incorporating project-based learning, students will not only solve equations but also analyze how these properties are used in engineering and design. This hands-on experience will deepen their understanding and make abstract mathematical concepts more tangible.
To bring this learning to life, I am seeking funding to obtain Rotating Ferris Wheel Building Blocks Set Toys with Lighting Kit, Carnival Amusement Park Construction.
These interactive models will allow students to visually and physically engage with the mathematical properties of circles, reinforcing their ability to determine proportional relationships, calculate arc measures, and solve for missing dimensions. This project will provide a dynamic, collaborative learning environment where students can apply their knowledge in a meaningful and exciting way. Your support will help transform our classroom into an immersive learning space that bridges mathematics with real-world applications.
