Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our cheerleaders are hard workers, leaders on campus, full of school spirit, and always looking for ways to uplift their community. They show up with energy, dedication, and a strong sense of teamwork both on and off the field.

The materials we are requesting will directly support their safety and well-being.

Athletic tape, self-adhesive bandages, and pre-wrap are essential for reinforcing wrists and ankles to help prevent injuries. With a team full of girls, having access to feminine hygiene products is important to ensure comfort and confidence. Instant cold packs will be used in case of emergency when we're traveling or on the go, and DripDrop will help keep them hydrated during intense practices and performances. The clear boxes and pouches are for safely storing jewelry that must be removed during practices and games, while the ziplock bags will be used to hold ice for injuries or sore muscles during home games and events. Additionally, the pink breast cancer bows will be worn during October to help raise awareness for breast cancer. This is an important cause our team proudly supports, and it’s one way we show our commitment to community involvement and making a difference beyond the sidelines.

Every item plays a role in keeping our athletes safe, prepared, and focused—so they can continue leading with spirit and strength.
