My Students

My student body reflects the unique diversity of the Hawaiian islands. My students are creative, driven free thinkers who appreciate the connections they experience in school as much as they appreciate the academic learning. My students have formed a tight community, as many of them have been in school together since kindergarten. They love to work, play, and create.

My students are forced to be resourceful, which only nurtures their innovation.

They are true trailblazers and I am proud to know them!

My Project

Please help us obtain new furniture that would dramatically enhance the sense of organization in the classroom. Students work all year on their portfolios, only to see them sadly piled in a corner when they are not in use. This corner shelf will help students to feel and take more pride in their work when they see it displayed in a more dignified and special way. The bouncy chairs will certainly be popular, and they will help my most distracted learners. Students have specifically requested this type of seating to help them feel more comfortable and inspired in their learning space.
