My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds and family experiences. As their teacher, I try to make our classroom feel like a second family. I welcome each child every morning with a smile and tell them how happy I am to see them. By creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment, I am fostering their passion for lifelong learning.

Each of my children are unique.

My mission is to meet each child at their individual developmental level and build their skills and confidence. A variety of learning strategies and group and individual work are utilized to meet learning goals.

My students have unlimited potential. It is truly amazing to watch the joy on their faces as they master new tasks and gain self-confidence. Your contributions will help realize these goals and ensure a greater future for these children.

My Project

Preschoolers sometimes have trouble sitting in a chair near others. For some, this is a new skill they have to work on. They can't see their feet- so often times they are not aware of where their space ends and a friend's space begins.

These bouncy bands give the children a physical reminder of where their feet should be while sitting with friends at a table.

These bands help cut down on the children kicking each other and give the children a way to safely fidget in the chair while remaining seated.
