My Students

My wonderful and energetic first graders are a fun loving bunch. They are eager to learn and it has been a difficult journey thus far due to the pandemic and most of them this being their first real school experience.

My Project

The students in my class don't have gloves and hats to keep them warm in the winter. Most of my student's either don't wear socks or wear socks that are either too big, too small, or have holes in them due to multiple siblings wearing the same socks and being washed often. Having these essential items to wear to school will help them focus better because they are warm and comfortable. They will not get as sick as often and will be in school more. Plus, having something that is yours and yours alone is something most of us take for granted.
