My Project

We are a K-5th-grade school with about 750 students, including a large population of students working hard to become proficient in English. Our students come from all different religious and cultural backgrounds, along with socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school is also privileged to serve military families and children. We truly serve such a diverse group of students. Although they are all different, they all deserve the best education possible!

My students struggle with navigating their social emotional skills and feelings, but with these books, my students will be able to learn about their feelings and different social skills.

Having these books in my classroom will help my students when they become overwhelmed by a situation. Students can take these books and read them. It will help them to navigate through their feelings and begin to calm down, so we can discuss what happened. These books would be a great asset to my classroom! With your help, I know we can help my students with their social emotional learning!
