My Students

"I'm feeling happy today!" my kindergarten student states. I love it; however, that genuine answer leaves me with unanswered questions: Why? How? Who?

As we are learning how to express ourselves and be healthy on the outside and the inside, I am excited to provide my students with stories they can relate to and materials that will help them express themselves.

My Project

I can't wait to provide my students with materials to help them develop an understanding of their emotions and discover fun ways to explore how to cope. This is an unprecedented time in education. The students are exploring new feelings and ideas as never before. The books that are selected for this project will allow the students to identify and make connections with the world around them. The art supplies further extend that understanding by providing a means of creating a project to show and share with others. Their self expression will initiate open conversations and support as we grow together as a virtual class.
