My Project

My little friends sometimes have really big feelings. All of these books have relatable stories told through the view of food group items, birds, lions, and more! The stories are engaging and help me provide a way to show my students how to handle their big emotions. We work on social emotional learning all day long, but sometimes there are specific skills that we need to work on. We read the story, The Smart Cookie, and came up with all the ways we are smart. This provided my students a way to build up their confidence and realize that we are one big classroom community with lots of talent.
