Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a set of six goggles in this project as well as suplies to turn them in to cheaper versions of impairment goggles. The student will put on the goggles and immediately feel how their VISION is affected by the alcohol or drugs. They will then be able to do activities and see what impairment from alcohol feels like.
It is my hope that students will use the goggles to see and believe how these substances affect their vision and are an impairment.
If these goggles and this activity help my students make a better decision in the future when it comes to alcohol, it's a win!
