Our class is comprised of 17 energetic and curious 3-5 year olds. Several different cultures and family structures are represented. All of our students speak English, but several also speak another language at home. We serve low socioeconomic families by providing early learning activities, breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children. Additionally, we provide health information and other supports for the families.
We consider everyone as part of our school family!
Parents/guardians join us once a week for Family engagement activities that connect to our learning objectives. Our parents also volunteer in our classroom and are an integral part of our school.
My Project
These musical instruments will replace our old and broken ones. With this new set, every child will have an instrument to play.
My kids love having marching bands, playing a variety of patterns, and creating their own music.
Whether we are doing a large or small group activity, they will learn about the instruments, how to make various sounds, and create patterns and music. Joyful noises will abound! Additionally, the children will experiment with the instruments on their own during free play time. We love hearing the joyful noises coming from our preschoolers! They can express themselves through the music they make.
