My Project
Help my students identify their target heart rate zones in our PE classes! We want to show our students how heart rate monitors can be utilized to promote personal fitness goals.
Students will be able to track their progress overtime, set goals, based on their heart rate data, reflect on their fitness and make more informed choices with their activity levels by self-monitoring data.
Students will be able to demonstrate how they can make connections between effort and heart rate and see how their body responds to movement. A tech-savvy approach that appeals to many learners along with cross-curricular learning. The students will have the ability to graph heart rate data, understand the cardiovascular system, and understand the importance of aerobic exercise.
