This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The traditional classroom environment has changed over the years. Especially after overcoming a very stressful pandemic, our children have entered our classrooms with some uncertainty and apprehension. I have designed my classroom to help students feel secure, welcomed, loved and a space for them to learn happily.

Between state assessments, life changes, friendships and family home life--things can sometimes be very overwhelming.

I want to create a space where students can find comfort and calmness. Through my own personal experiences and professional development, I have learned that students THRIVE in a positive classroom culture. Imagine the part you can play in helping me create this type of learning space!
