Feeding Minds and Bellies to Increase Engagement and Academic Potential

Help me give my students interactive, hands-on science experiments to increase engagement, snacks to feed their minds and bellies, and an iPad for enhanced instruction and learning.

My Project

Science is an area that students really love and look forward to learning, so having hands-on experiments will help to keep them engaged and continue to foster that learning!

Snacks are such an important item in our classrooms in America.

Many students come to school hungry and having multiple options for snacks is very beneficial to get them in the right mindset to learn and be the best they can be. When a student is hungry, their academic focus and potential are hindered. Providing them with these snacks will help create the optimal setting for growth and development.

The iPad will help increase student engagement in lessons, activities, and reading. We use a program where the students receive individualized instruction, and the iPad will be the best resource for the students to use during this time. It will help improve their fluency, comprehension, and understanding across all the third grade curriculum.
