Hard-working, creative, and persistent are a few words that describe my students. I am thrilled to be working alongside such dedicated and driven students. Each day they come to school eager to be challenged and prepared to put forth the effort to achieve meaningful growth.
Students who invest so much of themselves into the process of learning deserve a real-world challenge that allows them limitless opportunities to problem solve creatively.
My students value the collaborative process of learning and are eager to think outside of the box when they are given the chance to. My class is a kaleidoscope of unique abilities, interests, and passions. Collectively, they are quite supportive of each other's efforts both inside our classroom and beyond.
My Project
The Onyx stainless steel popsicle molds have been chosen to use in this project based on their compact design and durability. These molds will certainly withstand the test of time and provide my students with countless opportunities to take risks as they reinvent a childhood classic. The greatest challenge in reinventing the popsicle will be in using all natural sweeteners other than sugar. I have no doubt that they will rise to meet this challenge head on and in doing so will gain a better understanding that healthy snacking can be as refreshing as less nutritious options.
This project will enable my students limitless opportunities to gain firsthand knowledge of just how tasty healthy snacking can be.
I am confident the results of this initiative will far outlast the myriad popsicle creations invented along the way.
