This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students returned to school from lockdown with an intense love for anime, manga, and Japanese culture. However, though many of our students borrow manga from their library, many cannot afford to buy manga on their own. With your help, our students can own copies of the manga they love to inspire their love for reading and Japanese culture.
Feed our students' reading fire with Japanese manga!
As the advisor of the manga club, students come to me for recommendations and just to chat about manga with other students. Help support our students building community. A lot of this manga is also manga that I enjoyed as a youngster and it is a way to help them know me and manga culture better. Thank you for feeding the fire!
