Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my classroom have thirst and hunger for knowledge. In class we often build community in order to create a safe learning environment.

Resources such as snacks, water bottles, floor chairs, and classroom supplies not only fuel their minds, but encourage them to come to class ready and engaged for the day.

The goals for this project are to ensure each student has the materials they require to succeed as scholars and as people.

My students embody self determination, critical thinking, collectivism, and leadership. They exemplify these core values by being leaders in clubs, advocating for themselves/others and overall they strive to maintain a fun and safe environment to those in the community.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
