My class is group of students who are driven to become leaders in their community. They come to school with a fire in their bellies to learn. My diverse class means that I have many different learning styles in my room. My school is located in an area where not all of my student leaders have the means to enhance their learning at home. They are very driven to want to do well and learn new things.
One of the my goals is to have all the materials needed to satisfy my students' hunger to learn!
They deserve to have new books in their library.
I want to be able to give the scholars the experience that they deserve to have. I want to create an environment that is nurturing, engaging, and most importantly, safe!
My Project
One place in my classroom that gets my students so excited is my classroom library. Every day they are going in the library and trying to find that perfect book that will take them to a whole new world. This particular school year, I have a group of students who are truly passionate about reading. They can't wait to get their hands on new books. They are always thinking about what will be the next new book. I am struggling with keeping my books current. My students are constantly asking me to put new books in my library. With your help, I will be able to do just that!
