Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a Title I school, where 100% of the students at my school qualify and receive free lunch. My students live in a vibrant and diverse but poor neighborhood. The population consists mainly of English language learners with an influx of displaced students that have lost everything and are starting new lives in a new country.

My scholars are incredible students who, despite their economic and language barriers, are still extremely motivated.

In my classroom, their socioeconomic and language levels are not important. I believe in them and their success.

My Project

The healthy snacks and the sweet treats that wll be funded with your support will help increase my students' learning abilities in the classroom throughout the day. They can get a boost to their energy level for learning and become more engaged in classroom activities. The snacks can also be used as incentives and rewards for completing their work and for good behavior. These will help increase learning and engagement.

Now that we have students' bellies full, the resources that can be bought using the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help feed students minds.

Teacher Pay Teacher offers a sizeable library with teacher created resources focused on standards that my students will experience. These resources will challenge my students, and have them excited to learn.
