My Project
For students to be successful, they need to be able to focus on their schoolwork. Sometimes, all a child needs is a drink, a piece of candy, or a little treat to push them through. Unfortunately, many kids are sent to school late and miss their breakfast time, so by the time I see them, they are hungry and slightly cranky. If I can keep some treats like combos and beef jerky on hand for them, it will put them in a better place physically and mentally.
If a child is hungry, they cannot possibly be focused on their learning.
