My Project
For students to be successful they need to be able to focus on their schoolwork. If a child is hungry they cannot possibly be focused on their learning. Sometimes, all a child needs is a drink, a piece of candy, or simple crackers to push them through. Unfortunately, many kids are sent to school late and miss their breakfast time so by the time I see them they are hungry and slightly cranky. If I can keep some treats on hand for them, it will put them in a better place physically and mentally.
