Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a special education high school teacher at VHS. Many of our students come to school without enough food in their belly to sustain any type of productive focus while at school. Although lunch is provided, my students need snacks in order to keep up their energy and look forward to learning in my classroom.
I want to make sure every student I have leaves my classroom with both their belly and their brain full!
This provides a tremendous amount of security for my students in order to get to work in the classroom.
