Help me give my students snacks to keep their bodies fueled, math games to stimulate their brains, and prizes to reward their independent work.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wood's classroom raised $458

My Project
My growing fifth graders are wiggly and hungry. The stretch from our school-provided breakfast at 7 a.m. to school-provided lunch at 12:00 p.m. is a long one! Having a snack will increase student learning ability. Snacks will boost their energy level for learning. Snacks enable the students to become more engaged and focused on classroom activities.
By providing the students with snacks, math games, and small rewards for independent learning, we can promote higher academic performance in the classroom.
Having math games gives them a chance to practice their skills and improve their fact fluency. The prizes will help motivate students to focus during their independent work time.
The snacks will help keep the students alert. A snack can help encourage concentration and re-energize tired students. A fed student is a focused student!
