This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kids choose more, varied books when shelves are appealing; that needs to include lots of books facing out. These acrylic book stands will let me display books all around the library, without the damage that comes with standing books up just by propping them open.
Kids are more likely to choose a new book when they can see the cover.
These stands will be a great tool to spotlight the best our library has to offer. This Donors Choose project includes 100 acrylic book stands that can be used all around the library, displaying picture books, nonfiction, graphic novels and chapter books. Quality book stands are an important "support player" that allows our library collection to really shine!
