This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are an amazing group of first grade fluent readers that enjoy reading some of their favorite book titles in class. Most of the time they get to check these titles out from the library once a week. It would be ideal to have these book titles available in our class so students can have easy access to them on a daily basis.

They love the Elephant and Piggie series, Pete the Cat and Pigeon collection as well as Bad Kitty books.

The goal is that my students continue to their love for reading while having their favorite book titles available.
