This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have been handed a lot of challenges in life that are of no fault of their own, ranging from emotional and learning disabilities to mental health issues, to poverty, and neglect. These challenges are so major that the students' future goals often take a back seat and seem impossible. Many of our students live in neighborhoods where they cannot go outside and explore their interests or talents because it is just too dangerous, and in some cases, their parents cannot afford to put them in extracurricular activities. Our class is the only time some get to explore and gain experience.

My students are wonderful, ambitious individuals who have their whole future ahead of them to make changes to the lifestyle they were brought up in.

With a little help from the right people, anything is possible!

My Project

Despite all their trials, our students still push and strived for success. On June 25th 2021 my students will be the "Class Of 2021". I would like to give each of my students a farewell giftbag to show them how proud we are that they have accomplished something a lot of people told them they couldn't, " a high school diploma". THEY DID IT!!!!!
