Fantasy Football (for Readers)

My Students

The scholars that I have been blessed to lead in curiosity, discovery, and learning this year and over the past 6 years are bright, enthusiastic, and they bring so much joy to our classroom each and every day.

Energetic learners crave energized learning opportunities.

This could not be more true of my scholars. As their teacher, I strive to make our learning fun, engaging, and most importantly memorable. My students continue to amaze me with their potential daily. They are so deserving of everything the community and I have to offer them.

My Project

The football pinnies, quarterback training net, agility ladder and cones, along with the nonfiction books about football and legends in the field (see what I did there), will dramatically increase my ability to engage my students while preparing for our upcoming state test.

We will use these items to create an engaging, energetic, fun learning environment as we study and practice nonfiction reading skills.

Every item will be used during the unit in which we will study football, its practice, and its history along with other popular sports. Furthermore, we will reuse everything during recess and other teachers will have access to the equipment as well.

I cannot wait to get started in the planning for this creative experience and learning for my scholars.
