Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love teaching kindergarten. This first year in school is crucial to teach students how to be students and how to love learning. Igniting joy in learning is something I am strongly passionate about. Building strong phonics foundations is critical for reading fluency and comprehension throughout their academic careers.
The hand2mind phonics mats will allow for students to engage with hands-on group learning.
The word work set will be wonderful for learners getting familiar with the alphabet. The phonics word work set will be wonderful for those beginning to read CVC words or blends. The lowercase magnetic letters will be used for matching mats or spelling words.
