These materials will greatly help my students succeed. Every item listed is going to be used for centers. Due to the varied levels in my room, lesson plan differentiation is necessary. This makes center time crucial in my room so that every child is getting an equitable education. The envelopes, rolling cart, and lamination sheets will allow for easy math center storage organization. This will allow for easy access during centers. The students will know which drawer is theirs and I can store their supplemental math stations for them. The highlighter sticks and tape will help my students during their guided reading station. I really want my students to become independent readers and guided reading is key to achieving that goal. My kids will be able to focus on not only reading the books, but comprehending them. The butterfly kit will allow for a center dedicated to life cycles. One of the next domains I teach focuses on life cycles and I would love for my students to see a butterfly's life cycle first hand. They would be able to make scientific observation and inferences.
