My Students

Our school has wonderful students from many different backgrounds. They are all hard working and want to succeed. Each student comes in with unique learning styles and strengths. Many come from homes where English isn’t their first language, and some need assistance with food and household supplies from community agencies. Each student should have every available respurce to help them succeed. I am honored to be part of a school that is so supportive and caring to kids and their families. These students deserve the best because they are the best.

My Project

Every student is different and has different needs. I am asking for student lap desks and flexible ball seats to help meet imdividual needs. Many students have wiggles and need access to movement in the classroom for them to remain focused and complete their best work. The balance balls will work well to help students who focus best when they move.

Flexible seating helps students who need options other than the traditional desk and chair setting.

These seating options will help give my students choices about how they can complete tasks and work to their best ability. The lap desks will allow students to move around the classroom to a place where they can work best but give them the stability they need to solve math problems, or write and create with the hard surface. Some students work best in alternative seating areas, and I want to give all students the environment that could help best meet their needs. These balance balls and lap desks will allow students a place where they can concentrate longer and feel more successful and confident.
