Help me give my students fine motor games that will help strengthen their skills. Magnetic alphabet maze and shape maze will help them with their fine motor while also helping them recognize letters and shapes.
My students are some of the most inspiring children I have ever met. I work with children with severe disabilities. These disabilities can range from severe autism to a physical impairment and everything in between. These disabilities affect their abilities in speech and language, motor skills, social skills, and their cognitive abilities.
My classroom is also located in a low-income area, meaning many of their families receive free or reduced price lunch.
My students don't have access to many services that would help them progress. We have ten languages represented in my classroom and many are hearing English for the first time in my class. My classroom is full of students that love to learn. They are so smart and the key, is working on them being able to demonstrate their intelligence through any means we can.
My Project
These materials will change my students lives by helping them strengthen their fine motor skills while also teaching them cognitive concepts. The things I have requested will engage the students while also challenging them. These will be used during whole group activities as well as small groups to emphasize new concepts and review as well.
My students love engaging learning activities that capture their attention and excitement.
These activities will help their later ability to write by having them concentrate on their small muscles in their hands. Concepts that are reinforced are colors, shapes, and letters. These will be used on a daily basis for learning.
