This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My special education students are more successful when using fidgets to help them focus. My students range from kindergarten through fourth grade. They all enjoy using their hands to learn. Fidgets will help my students manage anxiety and enhance concentration. I will also use fidgets during activities to help reinforce social-emotional skills. I would like to offer the fidgets as well as the snacks as incentives to help promote and encourage their learning. My goal is to provide my students with whatever tools they need to be successful.
