My Project

I am so proud of the excellent behavior possessed by my 5th graders!

Help me give my students fun and motivating prizes to restock our prize bin.

I use a lottery for classroom management which serves to recognize, reward, and reinforce exceptional behavior. A strong classroom management system leads to more engaged students and fewer disruptions. It also leads to the development and strengthening of social-emotional learning skills. My students are very motivated by this and I am very consistent with this system. When they go above and beyond, they put their initials on a lottery square on our board throughout the week. On Friday's, I pick 5-10 winners randomly and they get to pick one item from our prize bin. The more squares they fill out, the better chance of winning there is. We restart the next week. I do this for all 3 rotations that I teach. The prizes go very quickly!

It has been so rewarding to watch them strive for stellar behavior. I would love to be able to switch up our prizes to keep these kiddos motivated to be the best they can be! With your generous donations and support, I will be able to ensure that these incentives stay stocked and exciting for them!
