Help me give my students a classroom they'll love coming to and being in. All of these items combined will help them create memorable projects that I can showcase for them and create a home away from home.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year, there are many different aspects of a student's education that teachers have to address. Students attending school, whether in-person or remotely, have faced challenges unlike any other.
Regardless of the challenges they face, my students strive for success in every way possible.
They are very diverse both academically and culturally. They are motivated and willing to do what it takes to achieve their goals, which is a quality I admire the most.
My Project
I want my students to feel the comfort of home in our classroom. I want to focus on projects that elicit creativity and self-expression to then display those projects all around the class!
There are so many resources on Teachers Pay Teachers that dive into social-emotional learning via crafts and journals that I plan on incorporating into their everyday learning.
To use these resources, I want to use all the supplies listed to make their projects come alive in the best way possible. My students will be excited to learn, express themselves, and encourage others to do the same.
I hope to give my students what they need to feel comfortable in their new classroom, and I hope they have fun each and every day.
