This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse and enthusiastic group of young learners who love stories and books. A quality collection of books as well as bookshelves will help support their learning in all academic areas: math, ELA, science, and social-emotional learning.

Our reading library is an integral part of our classroom.

Students are able to choose books to be read aloud, share with their friends, and to quietly enjoy on their own. To offer enrichment opportunities to our students, we also encourage students to check out books to read with their families at home.
