My Students
My physics students are curious and interested in our world. They are an incredibly diverse group from around the world. Many speak other languages, yet all come together to learn. Regardless of their culture, all families want their children to learn everything they can and prepare for a successful future.
Like most students today, they infuse technology into all of their activities.
Having access every day helps them learn about physics. Science classes are great for allowing all students to integrate technology into learning concepts.
My Project
Studying acceleration is easier with six new Smart Car Fan Accessory. Our school has quite a few older dynamics cars. These fans will attach and allow our students to perform several experiments about acceleration. We have some other carts but they break and don't work as consistently as these higher quality fans. We have quite a bit of the track, too.
The SmaartCar is a new wirelss car that has force, position, velocity, and acceleration.
This will allow my students to perform various experiments through the kinematics, dynamics and Newton's Law units. This would be the first of a class set of eventually 12.
