Family Stem Night: Animal Habitats

Help me give my students activities, prizes and ways to explore habitats for our Family STEM Night.

My Project

I love my school and my position. This is the best career I could ever dream of. Students in my school all receive free breakfast and lunch and are eager to learn. Our school teaches children in grades PreK through fifth grade and we want to provide as many educational, hands-on activities and projects as we can.

I am requesting STEM habitat-themed activities and prizes which will provide all of our students and families the opportunity to explore, discover and interact at our Family STEM Night.

During our STEM Night, students and families will rotate through various stations to learn more about animals and their habitats. Some of these activities include creating a paper bridge that is strong enough to hold plastic animals so they can cross safely over water without dropping, exploring forest and arctic animals through magna tiles and paper plates animal creations, sorting farm and zoo animals, discovering about mammals and fossils, exploring animal themed sensory bins, practicing their math skills while learning about chameleons and penguins, programming BeeBots to match animals and their babies plus so much more! Students will also win prizes, take pictures in front of the jungle background and play animal ring toss to test their skills.

Without your help, I wouldn't have the resources needed to have such an amazing event. Our students appreciate everything and I can't wait for our next event.Thank you very much for considering my project. I would greatly appreciate any support that you can give to my students and me.
