Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The entire student body will be invited to family game night. It will be a celebration of all cultures coming together to make a difference in the academic careers of all students attending Nathan Bishop. As a community, if we can assist those who are struggling to keep their focus on education, we will not only be improving the individual lives we touch, we will also be improving our overall community.
My Project
Help my school bring families in once month for Family Game Night!
We are trying to build better relationships with families and would like to have a game night where all cultures are celebrated with different types of foods and games.
We will be inviting translators and tutors for parents so that they can learn what their child is doing in school and be able to assist them with helping their child with homework. The night will be full of fun and I believe that it takes a team to educate a child... school, home and community. All we need are the games!
