Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year, our school will be hosting it's annual Family and Community Carnival. Our Family and Community Carnival will provide an opportunity for students, teachers, parents, and other members of the community to come together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We need assistance to provide snacks and games to our families, community memebers, and students. This event will promote community and family engagement, and help provide needed resources. Parents will recieve resources concerning health and wellness information as well as career support.

Our goal is to promote a sense of community and belonging.

We would like to provide our student with memorable and enriching experiences outside of the classroom.
