Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have volunteered to participate in book club where they will be competing at this year's district competition. These items will be utilized to help keep track of their reading, create anchor charts about the books that they are reading to share with their peers, take notes, and to enjoy independent reading on their own time.

My goal for this project is to provide some resources the students can utilize, as they are getting ready for their book competition.

The students will utilize these items to help them complete their goal of reading and comprehending a total of 20 books before March.

My students come from many backgrounds, from all middle school grade levels, and have come together to share their love of literacy at such a young age. It is special to see how they get excited about sharing the book that they finished reading and recommending it to their fellow classmates.
