This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I really want my students this year to fall in love with reading. I think the best way to do this is to give them access to books that they can really enjoy. After spending the last year paying attention to which books my students checked out at the library, I'm confident these series will get so much use in my classroom.
Students love reading books with familiar characters.
It gives them something to look for on the bookshelf and something to share with friends. By having options available in Spanish, I can make sure that my ELL students are able to be a part of those conversations as well!
