I plan to focus on improving foundational reading skills with my students through a lot of individualized small-group learning. While much of this will be done with myself or a staff assistant, I also need to develop activities and utilize software that will be completed individually on Chromebooks. Quality headphones will make this feasible in my classroom by allowing students to listen to instruction and ignore distractions in the classroom. My students cannot wait to use technology in the classroom! I am excited that I will be able to use their excitement to help motivate their learning!
