My Students

Hello! I have a total of 40 bilingual students that come from diverse countries and backgrounds. They are mostly first or second-generation immigrant students from Central America and a few from Asian or African nations. Most of my students are from low-income households and lack books and technology in their homes.

They are wonderful students who have a strong work ethic and are dedicated to academic achievement and who have great hopes for the future.

They are humble, kind-hearted, and grateful children whom I feel blessed that I can guide and teach this year! Please support their learning! Thank you so much in advance.

My Project

Please help fund this project that centers on fun yet helpful reading resources so that my struggling readers can fall in love with reading! This project is centered on supporting my special education students that are currently reading far below grade level and require more books at their independent reading levels. This project provides a variety of books to my students who need high-interest reading materials, but also foundational writing workbooks that will help them grow as readers and writers. As students improve their reading skills, they begin feeling more self-confidence as well!
