This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of some classroom essentials to start next year. We need lyres to march in the Latino Heritage Parade, the Black History Parade which was canceled this year due to the Eaton Fire, and perform the national anthem at Angels Stadium. We need neck straps, tuners, reeds and strings for daily, use, and I need a step ladder to get their work hung up in class above the cabinets! As a Title I school, it's not easy for us to get these items funded - even though they are needed every day.
Help our kids get the essentials they need!
We'd like to return from such a challenging year due to the Eaton Fire with our best foot forward and with the tools needed for every day!
