My Project

My students need to develop memorization of basic addition and subtraction facts to be successful with higher level math concepts and more advanced computations. Second grade is a great time to work on internalizing these operations.

I would like for my students to have engaging ways to practice their basic math operations independently and in small groups.

The Power Pens allow students to practice basic addition and subtraction with self-checking flashcards. The Splash game boxes will provide a fun format for students to practice their basic facts by playing in small groups.
