My Students

They are the best ESOL students. They are from various countries and speak various languages. They are full of life and willing to learn English. They are excited about school and enjoy reading.

My students are like sponges and soak up everything that is within their grasp to learn.

They are so appreciative of everything they are given and know that knowledge is the key to their future. This will be a wonderful opportunity for my students to gain all the resources the can acquire.

My Project

Due to the socioeconomic status of the community of our school, this collection of books would help my students become successful independent readers. Students enjoy reading books of high interest and they would really enjoy this book. I enjoy reading, therefore I hope my students will enjoy it as well. As a teacher, I try to identify novels that the students will not only enjoy, but learn valuable lessons in life. Allowing students to explore texts and read them for enjoyment is my goal.

Making a positive impact on student learning is my goal.

This will allow my students to improve not only their reading comprehension but, it will allow them to enjoy reading as something fun! Students will be able to actively engage in conversations about the book, "Animal Farm".
