Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the summer ends, I am gearing up for another great year of teaching 5th grade. I love helping my students start the year organized since this sets them up for a successful school year. I want my students to be able to enjoy our entire classroom and make it an inviting space. This year, I want to be able to give my students some flexible seating options. Flexible seating will allow my students to move around the classroom to collaborate with one another.

This project also helps to support students who are exhibiting positive and kind behavior.

My students earn points each day for the good choices that they make. Once a month I let my students cash in their points for a prize. Students really love fun stickers and bookmarks!
