My Project
My class is a group of interesting, inquisitive fifth graders whose curious minds constantly yearn for information. My students desire to read books daily but my current classroom library is limited to a few books. The classroom library is depleted and lacks inviting stories to broaden their horizons. With the purchase of a variety of books requested in this project, the classroom library will be expanded. Students will be able to read for pleasure from a plethora of books/ genres.
The project includes various book series, paper, colored pencils, and paper.
With the funding of this project not only will students have many genres to read. They can explore independent reading at multiple reading levels. They also can review texts and incorporate multiple arts when completing Reading Theater activities.
